Jeff Shannon Seattle Times Great idea, lousy execution: "Iron Sky" boasts one of the zaniest premises in recent memory, and somehow manages to squander most of its potential. Rated: 2/4 Aug 23, 2012 Full Review Tara Brady Irish Times History tells us that you can't fake trash classics and you can't manufacture a cult. Rated: 2/5 Jun 2, 2012 Full Review David Jenkins Little White Lies Lowballing schlock and nothing more. Rated: 1/5 May 24, 2012 Full Review James Croot Stuff.co.nz If you're expecting a big-budget space extravaganza, you're going to be sorely disappointed, but if you're after a slice of subversive sci-fi, then this is ausgezeichnet fun. Rated: 3.5/5 Aug 18, 2022 Full Review Vladan Petkovic Cineuropa The film does work and is fun most of the time, even if it has some disappointing passages, keeps losing rhythm due to sloppy editing and fails to make proper use of Udo Kier. Aug 14, 2020 Full Review Ed Travis Hollywood Jesus ... the comedy of Iron Sky is so broad and on the nose that the majority of the jokes just did not work for me. Some were painfully unfunny. And with a premise this ingenious that is just a little bit sad. Mar 31, 2020 Full Review Read all reviews

Ari V Would have been great as satire. Unfortunately, despite certain obvious comedic elements, it still takes itself way too seriously. Vaguely interesting for (what most likely is) its culty predictive-programming/karmic-retribution aspects. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 09/30/24 Full Review john d How much meth was consumed in the making of this movie? Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 07/05/24 Full Review Cees T 9.4/10 - Excellent. Superior to Sky Captain and maybe even Independence Day. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/31/23 Full Review Santana d Not as bad as I thought. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 09/04/23 Full Review Jonathan S A fun B-movie. I doubt it'll be for everyone, but I enjoyed it. The VFX was surprisingly good too. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 07/11/23 Full Review John C Some of the reviewers took this movie too seriously. The movie is described as a comic-science-fiction action film. It was a parody of a conspiracy theory with humorous references to other movies such as Downfall and Dr. Strangelove. The actors did a fine job, specifically Julia Dietze. Her character, Renate Richter discovers the evil that was the Nazi party. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 07/09/23 Full Review Read all reviews
