Luke S Difficult to see any reason why any of this cast would take this on. So ridiculous it's painful. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 07/25/22 Full Review Audience Member Really, do we need another one of the forgotten child seeks revenge films? Why do characters in Hollywood films always have to be non-sensical nut jobs. There was absolutely nothing unique or interesting about this film. It was more annoying than anything else with its missing-things mystery trope that leads to a ridiculously impossible end. And the court scene, a nonsensical shift in plot that makes little sense other than to push the plot along, and don't get me going on the foolishness of the ending. Avoid this waste of time at all costs. They should pay people to see this movie. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/03/23 Full Review Audience Member )))))))))))))))))))) Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/27/23 Full Review Audience Member I enjoyed it, Emily Blunt, Susan Sarandon, Sam Neill are great. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/17/23 Full Review Audience Member I was pleasantly surprised with this movie. I watched the trailer and then turned on the movie not expecting too much, but it was actually not bad at all. Without giving away too much, this movie is all about a woman who suspects her husbands new co-worker of stalking her family and playing these awful mean tricks on her. Of course, the movie did start off cheesy, and it often seemed unrealistic, but as it progressed I was actually quite impressed with some of the plot twists and the development of the mystery. The acting is what probably keeps this movie from being about 2 stars. If it had been any other actors I may not have believed the movie at all, but Susan Sarandon is very convincing in her role, and keeps the movie watchable. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/08/23 Full Review Audience Member somewhat eerily bizarre for first half of movie, paranoia only goes so far, but stick around for last half. it sort of starts making some sense Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/27/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Rob Mackie Guardian Writer-director Ann Turner sets the plotwheels clanking along in traditional manner without a hint of subtlety. Rated: 2/5 May 13, 2020 Full Review Jake Wilson The Age (Australia) The scenes of physical suspense are crudely handled, and the story essentially stalls for 90 minutes in its first act. May 13, 2020 Full Review Russell Edwards Variety Pic flirts with Hitchcockian touches, but inappropriate application of techniques fails narrative's specific needs. May 13, 2020 Full Review Carey-Ann Pawsey Orca Sound The problem is the story and direction. Basically, the way the story is told. It plays upon stereotypes and has a twist you can see coming from a mile away. And oh, that ending. Rated: 2/5 May 15, 2020 Full Review Caffeinated Clint Moviehole For all intents and purposes, "Irresistible" is a bad film in good film's clothing - looks appealing on the outside but on the inside its as hollow as an Easter egg. May 13, 2020 Full Review Jason Di Rosso ABC News (Australia) Writer-director Ann Turner has dealt with similar themes of fear, paranoia and seduction before, but Irresistible is her first tilt at a Hollywood-style genre film. It's an interesting try and the performances are good, but the suspense sags. May 13, 2020 Full Review Read all reviews
