Audience Member Came for Cannibal Holocaust spoof, stayed for the gay jokes which are rare commodity these days. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/20/23 Full Review Audience Member I have to give this terrible movie a little bit of credit for a few laughs (mostly due to the horrible voice-over work) and the occasional bit of solid gore (he took his face... off!). Other than that, what the hell is this? If's a serious horror movie, it's far too silly. If it's a parody, it's funny for all the wrong reasons. Although it's possible that everything is as intended, in which case... bravo? Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/26/23 Full Review Audience Member If you've ever watched Cannibal Holocaust or any of the other Italian made cannibal exploitation flicks of the 70's and 80's you'll LOVE this film. The film is a send up of that sub genre of horror film, complete with "scratches" on the film and purposely bad dubbing. For example, the main character is a white guy with blond hair, a mustache and wears aviators (that he seems to NEVER take off) the "dubbed" voice they gave him, sounds like a black guy with a really deep voice (think Barry White level deep) and the rest of the cast are just as ridiculous with equally as silly voices. Being a cannibal themed movie, it does have violence and gore...but it's like early Peter Jackson level gore...which is still pretty gory. LOL It's clear that the director was trying to make this film more of a comedy by making it an homage to that genre of film even giving the name of the director a nod to Itilian horror "Antonello Giallo" If you like your films gory, and VERY cheezy...you'll love this film...I can't even tell you how much i laughed throughout this whole film...Check it out! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/26/23 Full Review Audience Member Easily one of the most vile things I've ever seen but as a (pretty damn funny) spoof of Cannibal Holocaust and it's ilk, it's all probably apropos... probably. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/19/23 Full Review Audience Member Walks a fine line between surprisingly clever and pants-shittingly awful. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/17/23 Full Review Audience Member Despite the very misleading title, the was absolutely no footage of the legendary UK punk band The Damned nor indeed the happy talking spin-off fellow Captain Sensible.Very disappointing!!
