Steve D They keep making the same Bogart film and thinking people won't notice at this point. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 03/17/24 Full Review Susan R Bogart a smooth gangster on the lam, Sheridan a singer, a piano-player down on his luck, all arrive at mother's boarding house. High jinks ensue. Boarding houses and crooks and sweet old ladies always make charming plots, and throw in a romance with Ann Sheridan and a piano player, and Zazu Pitts for paranoid insanity, and you've got a very cool comedy. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 10/16/23 Full Review Tom M Entertaining enough. Supporting cast is very good. You spend most of the movie trying to figure out whether Bogart's good or bad . Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 04/06/20 Full Review Audience Member This is Jeffrey Lynn and Ann Sheridan's film. They shine as put-upon "talents" under the thumb of gangster Bogart, who we see less of than usual. Lynn and Sheridan are very talented and it comes across nicely as they carry the plot forward with their plans. The rest of the cast is extraordinary, with each playing a unique and distinctive role that appears to be quite normal for a rooming house like this. The fact remains that without Lynn and Sheridan it couldn't have all come true. It is their presence and their acting that bring this film to life. You see the spark in their faces and this movie takes off. Jeffrey Lynn was much more talented than others in this film who are better known. Maybe it's because he didn't create a static character that audiences could immediately identify with himself. Regardless, It All Came True is lighthearted fun and it all works. It's worth your time and is good entertainment. Wouldn't you live in a house like this if you had the chance?
