Kevin Maher Times (UK) ... A solid, mid-level Elvis movie that’s built around the central concept of simply dragging the King to Seattle’s Century 21 Exposition in 1962 and seeing what happens. Red T It's so forgettable, predictable, lighthearted, and mindless that it's hard to get angry or care much about anything going on. The editing is subpar. The first 20 minutes could've been cut and just started with Elvis at the fair. It's similar to Big Daddy where stuff just sort of happens with no real flow with the little girl. The humor is very flat also. The music numbers are also nothing special either with nothing visually that pops and the songs themselves aren't that catchy and are forgettable. Everything else about this is pretty much fundamentally ok. It does lose me at times but it just is so mindless and one dimensional I can't really care about it. I guess Elvis fans would like this somewhat but anyone else skip this. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 07/31/23 Full Review Karen S I haven't seen it since I was a child. The cast is wonderful and nice view of 1 of the best World's Fair in United States. Very nostalgic and now know where the Seattle Space Needle came from. Well cast and very enjoyable! You get to see EP's funny side in Excellent slap stick. And there is Mr. Russell soon in the near future to play Mr. Elvis himself🌟🌟🌟 Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Gunnar It's really good and interesting Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/15/23 Full Review Tania G The only good thing about this movie is that it was filmed in Seattle. Seeing the city is great. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/31/23 Full Review steve d Especially cute Elvis film the remains fun. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review kevin w The first iteration of Elvis was a volcanic eruption that shook a staid postwar America to its core, an alley cat howl from the wrong side of the tracks that quivered in truth. Fearful of his power, he was sent to the Army, neutered, and returned as this second iteration and began to make movies like this. This Elvis was a shiny and plastic imitation of the first, the Stepford Wives Elvis: as if he was given a country club membership and a set of golf clubs. Well produced and handled, and this movie is that, this is "Elvis, the nice guy". Not that McDonald's hamburgers do not have their own worth...
