Ryan S Classic family movie... made when principles and community mattered... timeless story... and loved the actors... Rated 4 out of 5 stars 08/25/23 Full Review George L My wife & I grew up in New England. We really enjoyed the movie. Doris day, Jack Lemmon, and Ernie Kovacs are great. Part of the reason we liked it was nostalgia for 1950s New England. It was filmed in Chester, CT. Nov 14, 2019 Full Review Dennis Schwartz Dennis Schwartz Movie Reviews An amiable but stiff populist comedy that should have been funnier since it starred the talented Doris Day, Jack Lemon and Ernie Kovaks.
