Steve D Nothing worked despite the great cast. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 07/12/23 Full Review StephenPaul C LOL, the funniest 01 hour: and 43 minutes ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/23/23 Full Review Audience Member It really is quite an original comedy, and I really think a good one too. Great and original acting as well. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/07/23 Full Review kevin w The cog this romcom spins on is how long can star power sustain coitus interruptus and still keep the story interesting for the fish. Practically 5 minutes after we meet our couple they marry and consummate - but wonder: "is this the real thing?" A month's abstinence will prove it, it is decided. The majority of the piece then are the comic situations abstinence might bring and how our kissy-face doppelgangers handle it. Reynolds is attractive while Ford is down-to-earth, making for a overall decent piece. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Glenn Ford is 43 and has been a sergeant for approximately twenty-five years. What is wrong with him? Again, young female talent is paired with much older male talent at MGM -- a pattern that is so often repeated that it is the norm. This could have been something that stood out, but instead follows the MGM pattern circumspectly. Reynolds is good in her role; why not give her a young male star to play off? Instead, MGM gives her a daddy, just like in all the other musicals they produced. This is a waste of Debbie Reynolds' talents, although she does sparkle when she is alone and can sing. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/16/23 Full Review Audience Member The most exciting thing about the touristy breezy romcom is an experimental 1955 Lincoln Futura, the concept car that was the future model for the Batmobile.
