Audience Member Martin Parr doesn't get on with John Shuttleworth and clearly wants to make a different movie, leading to a slightly prickly film that's trying to be two things at once. Funny but tetchy. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/07/23 Full Review Audience Member Graham Fellows' painfully funny John Shuttleworth [security guard turned versatile singer/songwriter and organist] travels to the most northern points of the British Isles with photographer Martin Parr to find out if people really are nicer up north. Both utterly crap and totally hilarious. This is pleasurably poor documentary making of the highest order. "Ooff..is he deaf?" Genius! Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/05/23 Full Review Audience Member You gotta LOVE John Shuttleworth. This is excellent and totally funny, and has provided the new screen saver for my mind with the menu screen music. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/31/23 Full Review Audience Member top rated John Shuttleworth action. Mild mannered polite John journeys north to find out if people get nicer the more north you get. not as good as 500 bus stops, but its still excellent.
