Amber Wilkinson Eye for Film Serebrennikov's film may be sometimes confusing, sometimes confounding and somewhat disappointing in the neatness of its ending, but there's no denying his talent. Rated: 3.5/5 Sep 9, 2013 Full Review Read all reviews

Audience Member A nice attempt to show the story of infidelity and its consequences. Too bad that the script is uneven, with many gaps and unanswered questions. The acting of the major characters is superb, though. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member Intriguing script with powerful acting. However, I did not understand why they could not be together after their partners death and why they had to have an affair years later when they both remarried. Just pure revenge? Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/08/23 Full Review Audience Member 'Betrayal'. I was in admiration of its unsettling, topsy turvy script until it pushed too far to prove a point and lost me. Props to Franziska Petri for her performance and being put through quite the physical wringer. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Sometimes, it is quite a refreshing experience by watching foreign cinema. This one is well-planned & constructed, although still slow-moving, plus sorta confusing between scenes. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/04/23 Full Review Read all reviews
