Larry G Noah benShea is a very close friend over six decades, so I may be biased. But think about this: how many friends stay close over a lifetime? There must be a reason. This film is the culmination of many years for Noah. I've watched him grow. I've always been impressed with the quickness of his mind. He loves to play with words. He loves to give advice. He loves an audience. And he rarely disappoints . So if you want to understand why he is special, watch Jacob the Baker. It's quite an accomplishment Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/17/24 Full Review jeff a Full disclosure, I have a personal and professional connection with this project, going back over twenty years. Having said that, I was blown away with the power and authenticity of this movie, let alone just full out amazed at how they pulled it off during the pandemic. I saw the film in a packed theater with an audience containing many hard core industry veterans and it was amazing to watch them just melt, and experience the waves of warmth and healing and transformation that I witnessed. It is so human, so universally relatable, and so honestly and simply done, and the effect starts early and gets in deep with a message that's here to stay: we all matter. we're all connected, none of us are all that different from each other, and it is the hope and belief in our own human-ness that will ultimately set us free. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/05/24 Full Review Brendan G Wow, what a great production of this indie film.  Jacob is absolutely captivating and of course inspiring.  The film does a commendable job of utilizing personal stories that are relatable to all of us universally even if we're not or haven't experienced their specific challenges.  The production value, the music and Jacob's voice alone really move this along at a comfortable pace.  This film leaves you feeling better about life as well as empowered in navigating whatever comes your way.  Loved it. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/27/23 Full Review Robert L The film follows a young journalist assigned to interview Noah, the author of a book series featuring Jacob, a fictional character striving to be a pillar of strength for others. As the plot unfolds, a character in Denmark, initially lost and faithless, undergoes a profound transformation, ultimately becoming a nurse. Kathrine's portrayal beautifully captures the inspiring journey of overcoming challenges and discovering a renewed sense of purpose. The movie is both heartwarming and inspiring and the message of hope and compassion is something that can resonate with a lot of people.
