It's a tailor-made role for Cube -- not surprising, considering he wrote the script -- and he plays it with his familiar mix of brash-talking bluster and brow-knitting frustration. Go to Full Review

Humorless feature film that aspires toward a comedic pitch that should've never been placed in the hands of Ice Cube. Mike Epps, sure. But Cube is best bewildered, not fitted for clown shoes. Go to Full Review

Ice Cube and Mike Epps' much-delayed fourth screen teaming has to be a landmark of some sorts in how a company's complete lack of concern for its own product could not be more brazenly apparent. Go to Full Review

Wayne B @WayneBoogie33 2d I love Ice Cube and Mike Epps and will always be supportive of their joint projects, and hate to agree with the criticism, but Janky Promoters isn’t high quality comedy. Did I get my laughs on, yes. It’s Craig and Day Day. I think the budget was from Mike Epps weed sales. It’s like this film should have been released before Next Friday that lead up to the dynamic chemistry. All About the Benjamins showed they could blend well together outside of the Friday franchise. Janky Promoters cones off pre Friday. Tiffany Haddish was the only comedian. I think Lamard Tate performed well because he was his typical self from Dont Be a Menace to Barbershop. Ice Cube putting on a clown show for laughs doesn’t do well either. Angry Ice Cube was missing as well. Still, I enjoyed the entertainment. 1998 Craig and Day Day. See more Incog D Mar 8 The plot is very basic to a fault, the humor is subpar, and the soundtrack could've done better. Despite it's packed cast with notable acting debuts and few laughs, most hardcore Ice Cube/Mike Epps fans will give the hard pass on this rather "Janky" movie. See more 11/18/2014 Janky Promoters, the fourth film starring Ice cube and Mike Epps, is a sloppy, wildly uneven, and sparsely funny effort that fails to reach the side-splitting heights of their previous collaborations. See more 03/19/2013 This movie was pretty funny. I wish it had a good soundtrack, but Ice Cube and Mike Epps worked well together. It had its moments, but was a little rough around the edges. I thought it was worth watching, but most probably won't. See more 08/26/2012 very funny.cube and mike epps combination See more 08/13/2012 i need this movie too funny See more Read all reviews
