Patrick Cavanaugh The Wolfman Cometh Given the dregs of this franchise, it's hard to call this an "embarrassment," but it does show how far the franchise fell over its tenure. Rated: 1/5 Sep 11, 2025 Full Review Brian Bisesi Horror Movie Club Podcast While the decision to take the franchise in a new direction is admirable, the film’s plot is so nonsensical and convoluted that the creative team’s big swing ends up as a big whiff. Rated: 1.5/5 Oct 11, 2023 Full Review Trace Thurman Horror Queers Podcast It's very, very, very, very, very, very stupid. Rated: 2/5 Dec 30, 2020 Full Review Matthew Rozsa matthewrozsa.com If Jason Goes To Hell had been a standalone film, it might have worked; as a Friday the 13th movie, it sucks. Rated: 1.5/4 Apr 13, 2015 Full Review Steve Newton Georgia Straight I've now seen all nine of the series' entries, so trust me when I say that Jason Goes to Hell: The Final Friday is very likely the worst of the bunch. Romas M Greetings from Lithuania. I wasn't expecting anything from "Jason Goes to Hell: The Final Friday" (1993) after 8th part was absolutely terrible, and this one had even lower rating. But to my surprise i actually enjoyed "Jason Goes to Hell" way more then i thought i would be. Sure this isn't a great movie by any means, but i found it darkly funny and with some interesting ideas and premise. The opening 20 minutes were actually good. The last act was kinda been there done that, but even then i found myself more involved into it than many of the sequels. This movie had one of the most solid acting if the most one at that point. These actors actually were pretty good given the material. Overall, i did enjoyed "Jason Goes to Hell: The Final Friday" for a majority of its run time. It has interesting premise for like a 9th movie in a very generic slasher series. All in all, this one isn't half bad at all. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 11/04/25 Full Review Rafe L This is the worst movie I've ever seen in my entire life literally this shouldn't even been apart of the series at all Jason isn't even in it at all this movie can go 🤬 itself Jason takes Manhattan is God awful it's so horrible but that movie is golden compared to this movie don't watch it don't waste your time watching it skip to Jason X you'll thank me later at least that's a fun one and Jason is doing the killings it's not some awful version of evil dead Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 11/03/25 Full Review Obi-wan K Son 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 Rated 2 out of 5 stars 10/24/25 Full Review Rafael S This movie is horrible, terrible. Some scenes are good (like the opening, references to ANOES and Evil Dead, and Freddy Krueger at the end) Rated 1 out of 5 stars 10/02/25 Full Review Guilherme M i tought the movie was going to be a lot worse, but despite the reviews and the fans, it's not that bad, the cgi and special effects are pretty good for it's time (1993). I don't think the story is that bad, but the ideia of mitology and mystical creatures in a movie about a psycho that kills in a camp is pretty exaggerated. And again a normal flaw in Friday the 13th movies : Non memorable characters. All i can remember after a day is the bounty hunter that breaks fingers. But the ending is pretty good, the movie is pretty solid for the fan base. But yeah, it's way gorier and nastier, and obviously it wants to add nudity because "it's a teens movie". Obviously belongs to the worst movies of the franchise.
