After being blown away by a team of FBI agents, Jason Voorhees (Kane Hodder) needs to find a way to overcome certain death. When his bloodied remains are sent to the morgue, his heart, still intact, is able to hypnotize a coroner and take over his body. After brutally dispatching a couple of FBI agents, he heads back to his favorite stomping grounds: Crystal Lake. Jason commences another teen massacre while a bounty hunter (Steven Williams) discovers the only way to kill him.

Given the dregs of this franchise, it's hard to call this an "embarrassment," but it does show how far the franchise fell over its tenure.

Jason Goes to Hell was surprisingly intriguing. The body-snatching aspect of the film was quite cool. The gore was actually quite decent. While the film still had its goofy elements, it wasn’t terrible; it was just not the best. At certain points, I found myself invested in the story, but in other aspects, I was bored. Overall, it wasn’t a bad film.

Every time I see a Friday the 13th movie I want so desperately for it to be good but it's just not. This movie was just about the biggest letdown in a franchise of letdowns.The worst part is the military level of plot armor he has. Overall 1/10

Greetings from Lithuania. I wasn't expecting anything from "Jason Goes to Hell: The Final Friday" (1993) after 8th part was absolutely terrible, and this one had even lower rating. But to my surprise i actually enjoyed "Jason Goes to Hell" way more then i thought i would be. Sure this isn't a great movie by any means, but i found it darkly funny and with some interesting ideas and premise. The opening 20 minutes were actually good. The last act was kinda been there done that, but even then i found myself more involved into it than many of the sequels. This movie had one of the most solid acting if the most one at that point. These actors actually were pretty good given the material. Overall, i did enjoyed "Jason Goes to Hell: The Final Friday" for a majority of its run time. It has interesting premise for like a 9th movie in a very generic slasher series. All in all, this one isn't half bad at all.

This is the worst movie I've ever seen in my entire life literally this shouldn't even been apart of the series at all Jason isn't even in it at all this movie can go 🤬 itself Jason takes Manhattan is God awful it's so horrible but that movie is golden compared to this movie don't watch it don't waste your time watching it skip to Jason X you'll thank me later at least that's a fun one and Jason is doing the killings it's not some awful version of evil dead
