But now he's taking his old ego, Silent Bob, and his best stoned friend, Jay, out of their place. Like two borderline debilitated heroes set off across America just to get to Hollywood, Smith takes apart everything that comes along in adventure movies, road trips and Hollywood clichés. Humor isn't for everyone. Even if Smith conjures up typical, religious, dogmatic and faith questions out of the bounds. The best scenes are when Jay and Silent Bob themselves wander around the film studios. Even the stars who play there like to take aim at themselves. And not always from the sympathetic side. Conclusion: Only if you like Kevin Smith will get his money's worth!
