Audience Member Two guys from the small Texas town of Salt Flat head to Nashville to fulfill a dream of playing at the Grand Ole Opry. Has subpar moments but works on some level since I found myself pulling for JD by the end. Very good closing scene at the Opry. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/13/23 Full Review Audience Member Two dreamers and a ventriloquist dummy hit Nashville to make it in country music. Despite silly car chases and kidnapping subplot, this is redeemed by two leads worth rooting for and finish of stage hijacking of the Grand Ole Opry and leaving to a standing ovation.
