Dennis Schwartz Dennis Schwartz Movie Reviews So-so conventional and cliche-filled mostly fictionalized biopic of the ill-fated Jeanne Eagels. Rated: B- Jul 2, 2014 Full Review Read all reviews

Steve D The character assassination overshadows everything else. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/21/24 Full Review Audience Member Kim is great. Someone just does not know life as completely or as deeply as she did. Because of my personal studies of the insanity in my own family, in my own reflecting, I have seen these things. Kim is always amazing. It is her own personal heartache from her own family. I think she is very real. Wren. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/07/23 Full Review Audience Member Great job by Kim Novak. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/27/23 Full Review Audience Member average bio-pic but Novak seems overwhelmed and out of her depth Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Audience Member Kim Novak...gives the best performance of her career. Add this film to your list. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/22/23 Full Review Audience Member Earnest though rather dull tale of actress Jeanne Eagles (who I hadn't ever heard of before) and her rise and fall. It's a fairly familiar story, but I like Kim Novak and that was enough to hold my interest, even if she did seem a bit hammy during some of Eagles' scenes when she was drunk on stage. Not bad, but not really a classic either. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/31/23 Full Review Read all reviews
