Owen Gleiberman Entertainment Weekly Rated: C+ Sep 7, 2011 Full Review Roger Ebert Chicago Sun-Times Somebody should have taken a hard look at the screenplay and decided that it wasn't finished. Rated: 1.5/4 Jan 1, 2000 Full Review Marc Savlov Austin Chronicle Rated: 3/5 Jan 1, 2000 Full Review Matt Brunson Film Frenzy Title notwithstanding, here’s a murder-mystery that avoids being completely by-the-numbers, even if it ultimately fails to fulfill its immense promise. Rated: 2.5/4 Feb 8, 2024 Full Review Joe Lipsett Queer.Horror.Movies. The film is worth recommending thanks to Hall’s cinematography, as well as the relationship between Garcia's Berlin and Henriksen's Freddy. As a relic of a bygone Hollywood era when these films were common, Jennifer 8 remains an entertaining thriller Rated: 3.5/5 Jan 29, 2024 Full Review Nick Rogers Midwest Film Journal Writer-director Bruce Robinson's ruthlessly oppressive and relentlessly impressive thriller offers a tried-and-true template of tough, terse mystery storytelling and compellingly realized character-driven complications to the film’s central investigation. Wink D I’ve watched this movie many times. While it’s not spectacular it is reminiscent of the movies I grew up watching. I recommend watching at least one time Rated 3 out of 5 stars 06/03/24 Full Review B P ‘Jennifer 8’ Builds A Big Mystery. An atypical crime thriller that manages to get more right than wrong. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 04/26/24 Full Review KB B It was okay but I'd never want to watch it again. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/27/24 Full Review Jelisije J A film where the movie should have focused on the detective trying to catch the killer instead of romancing the witness who is blind. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/11/24 Full Review Tango M I was shocked to see what a low rating this movie has on Rotten Tomatoes. WHY?? W H Y? This is one of the best suspense/thriller type movies I have ever seen. I can only assume there is some sort of bias in operation here. The story was amazing, the screenplay was amazing, the acting was amazing. It is one of my favorite movies of all time. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/25/23 Full Review Steve D Ok but slightly ridiculous thriller. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/22/23 Full Review Read all reviews
