Foon (Ya-lei Kuei) is headed to a community for the elderly in China, accompanied by her granddaughter (Theresa Lee). As Foon begins to recall her past, she thinks back to a love affair she had with a woman during World War II. While working in a factory, a young Foon (Charlie Young) is chosen by Wan (Carina Liu), the wife of a wealthy man, to be a maid in her home. Foon initially falls for a local man, but eventually strikes up a relationship with Wan that is compromised by the war.

Audience Member The story is about passionate and forbidden love. Starring Charlie Yeung Choi Nei and Carina Lau Ka Ling. Good acting by both actresses.
