Sean L. McCarthy Decider Jefferies boasts has an impressive body of work as a stand-up, but this is not the most impressive hour in that body, no matter how many party tricks he may be able to pull in the bedroom, or onstage. Aug 18, 2025 Full Review Jonathon Wilson Ready Steady Cut Jefferies makes fun of everyone equally, calls out hypocrisy and ridiculousness wherever he can find it, and most importantly, trusts his audience to be in on the joke. Petros T Jefferies is quite a reliable comic: he's been continuously putting out solid, worthwhile specials for a decade now, and though this isn't the best, it doesn't put an end to his streak either. Some bits are really funny, few are too simplistic to elicit much of a reaction, and everything else is quite amusing, though the absence of longer, more ambitious storytelling jokes is felt. His delivery is pretty great as always: his mischievous everyman persona remains entertaining and rather relatable. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 08/30/25 Full Review Nellie B. Same old boring jokes Rated 1 out of 5 stars 08/25/25 Full Review Sapphire D Watched half of it feeling ill at the content and the wretched pity of watching a grown man stooping to such depths. He has seriously lost it, and was degrading himself for money: I wonder where on his sliding scale of sexuality that puts him. I honestly wonder if he's spent 6 months in his basement watching porn and has become a sadist to his audience. It makes you feel dirty, and not in a good way. His poor wife and kids! Rated 1 out of 5 stars 08/19/25 Full Review Christopher B While not my favorite of his work, and I’ve been a fan since “I Swear to God,” it has the steady glow of great jokes and stories I’ve come to look forward to every time I watch or listen to something of his. Even Jim mentioned it starts slow on his podcast, but even with the slow start it has a steady stream of laughs. I thought it was funnier with a second watch and appreciate that Jim has stayed true to himself as an artist, while growing as a father, husband, and man. It’s definitely an hour that old fans will appreciate and will hopefully make new watcher want to start from the beginning to see Jim’s arch as a truly great comic. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 08/19/25 Full Review David M Too Lame Policy. Jim Jeffries' success is a mystery to me. But I though I'd give it a go. Appalling from minute one. Who cares about Johnny Cash, seriously. Do not waste your time Rated 1 out of 5 stars 08/16/25 Full Review Tom Dyer B I've seen some of Jim's jokes all over the internet, so I thought this was going to be great. I had to turn it off aftwr 5 mins. It wasn't comedy, it was just ranting, and it wasn't funny, at all. It was cringey and embarrassing. Maybe it gets funnier, but when it starts so terribly bad, it doesn't deserve to be watched. What a shame. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 08/16/25 Full Review Read all reviews
