11/27/2015 An epic performance; playing to a Southern crowd in the tumultuous days of the early '70s, he really reaches deep and pulls some amazing sounds out the neck. There's this moment when the fireworks are going off behind him and he turns his head right when one goes off... quite literally took my breath away. We don't get to Jimi until a half hour in. The first 32 minutes is spent sitting the late '60s scene. Many interviews with folks who were there . . . many had personal contact with Jimi.
