Rob I read the book a couple days ago and decided to watch the movie. Was not disappointed. Movies are never like the books bc they're different mediums but this movie did the book poetic justice. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 04/14/24 Full Review Terry S Quirky and really kind of funny--A really unique experience. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/19/24 Full Review terry b This was a great movie with a lot of laughs. Its not a mainstream crowd pleaser. If your willing to keep an open mind and not take this so seriously. Then you should find it ptetty funny at just about every twist and turn. Idk ehy this ismt rated higher. I got it and I guess many just didnt or they where looking at it through rhe eyes of s movie critic that takes themselves and this movie far to seriously. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/05/24 Full Review Nathan E John Dies at the End ★★★½ Rewatched 04 Jan 2024 Despite its shoestring budget, I thought this was a good film . The film is odd and doesn't make a whole lot IF you don't pay attention. Would recommend if you were high. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/02/24 Full Review Stoner J I love these original concepts but this one is all over the place and makes zero sense. Trying to understand what's actually going on is impossible in this. Is it an alien movie, an interdenominational movie, a comedy, a ghost movie, or something else? It's completely incomprehensible but interesting enough that I watched till the end. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 12/01/23 Full Review KB B It was pretty good but really strange. Watch if there's nothing else on. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 11/15/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Violet Lucca Film Comment Magazine The saving grace of John Dies at the End is undoubtedly its manic storytelling: the energy and pacing of scenes give the movie the impression of being told on the spot (which is of course what the framing device intends). Jun 28, 2013 Full Review James White Empire Magazine Gonzo freakiness in such doses that cult status is practically ensured. Rated: 3/5 Mar 17, 2013 Full Review Michael O'Sullivan Washington Post I stopped taking notes when the woman disintegrated into a ball of writhing snakes. Rated: 1.5/4 Mar 15, 2013 Full Review Dennis Schwartz Dennis Schwartz Movie Reviews I wouldn't count on the title giving you a leg up on the film's outcome. Rated: C Jul 30, 2023 Full Review Brent McKnight The Last Thing I See This could, and maybe should, have been something we'd rave about and line up to see at midnight screenings for years to come.
