Synopsis
Revered American filmmaker John Huston is the subject of this documentary, which explores both his personal and his professional life. Hosted by Robert Mitchum, the film looks at the director's early years and examines his close bond with his father, actor Walter Huston. Depicting Huston's rise from a screenwriter to a celebrated Hollywood auteur, the production also features his close friendship with regular collaborator Humphrey Bogart and gives ample time to the duo's 1940s heyday.
