Mulaney's sharp wit and impeccable timing are on full display as he delves into a range of topics, from his time in rehab to his experiences as a new father. His ability to find humor in even the most difficult situations is truly remarkable, and it's clear that he's in top form throughout the special. One of the standout moments of the special comes when Mulaney delves into his struggles with addiction, which he addresses with a candid and unflinching approach that is both poignant and hilarious. He is able to balance the gravity of the situation with his signature wit and humor, making for a truly memorable and impactful performance. John Mulaney: Baby J is a must-watch for anyone who appreciates smart, sharp, and side-splittingly funny comedy. Maybe the best comedy special of the year. Mulaney is masterful in dealing with the large white coked up elephant in the room. His tone may be darker, but the story telling is on point and his words ring authentic. Absolute must watch!
