It's not very apologetic for a special about recovering from drug abuse. At the very least, it's very funny—which always matters most in a comedy special—and the subject matter undeniably lends itself well to the format.

We all are rooting for Mulaney for some reason (his hair? his suits? his "vulnerability?"), but this special is not special. Unoriginal, not funny; I predicted 80% of every punchline.

Maybe the best comedy special of the year. Mulaney is masterful in dealing with the large white coked up elephant in the room. His tone may be darker, but the story telling is on point and his words ring authentic. Absolute must watch!
