The jokes are somewhat obvious and overplayed, giving the movie a Mr Bean feel. I suspect it was targeting younger viewers. Very slick production in terms of cinematography, but thin in terms of wit and substance.

The film presents some interesting characters and plays for laughs modern advancements in technology which could far outstrip the knowledge of an agent prominent twenty years ago. Its downfall lies in an incoherent plot, poor CGI and a poor execution of even the simplest jokes. A longer runtime too with a more complex fleshed-out story, which allows for a greater focus on the evolution of English like the fantastic character arc we got for English in Reborn.
