In 1968, when a 76-year-old nun is raped and murdered, a teen from the wrong side of the tracks is tried for the murder and sentenced to death in spite of his insistent claims that he is innocent. On the day of his execution, the young man writes a letter, promising revenge from beyond the grave. Soon after his execution, those involved start dying, and one of the jurors sets out to uncover the truth.

This is an incredibly atmospheric movie, dynamically shot and tightly edited so it never quite settles into a groove-such is its power.

It was supposed to be a movie based on true events with paranormal elements but it looks like cheap TV production that was not needed for a wider distribution. Acting and montage is tragic, horror scenes terrible.

Very interesting movie. Simon Rumley's dark and "out there" style succeeds again. Fans of his "Fashionista" will like this latest project of his. It's scary and thrilling and a good movie to watch with friends in a dark basement. Sure it might not win an Oscar, but it's worth the 95 minute runtime.
