The director seems to like every single directorial trope and faddish technique that he's ever seen. Shaky cameras, fast motion cuts, voices echoing in one's head, yellow filter, etc.

It was supposed to be a movie based on true events with paranormal elements but it looks like cheap TV production that was not needed for a wider distribution. Acting and montage is tragic, horror scenes terrible.

Very interesting movie. Simon Rumley's dark and "out there" style succeeds again. Fans of his "Fashionista" will like this latest project of his. It's scary and thrilling and a good movie to watch with friends in a dark basement. Sure it might not win an Oscar, but it's worth the 95 minute runtime.
