Jonathan Holland Hollywood Reporter Fine performances by Lola Duenas and Ana Duenas as the mutually needy mother/daughter tandem largely redeem Celia Rico Clavellino's debut from its overwrought, over-careful air. Oct 30, 2018 Full Review Emiliano Basile EscribiendoCine An intimate film that successfully portrays the spaces and situations that sometimes can be difficult to talk about. Once she does, this becomes a nuanced and enjoyable study of mother-daughter relationships. Audience Member Between 3 and 3.5 stars. A very simple and very well told story about love between a mother and a sister. It is a very tiny story, which does not tell much, and does in a very intimal, minimalistic way. Actress are wonderful: Lola Dueñas in a role which is perfect for her, and Anna Castillo is restrained (usually the opposite role she does, what has being fantastic in "El olivo" and was terrible in "La llamada) in a tone which was required by the movie. A good reflection about love, family, and probably the best movie I have seen about maternity.
