      Dani G Kaurismaki's films (or its characters) don't have a lot of dialogue; so a silent film it's not very far from what he has done. Mir hat dieser finnische Stummfilm aus dem Jahre 1999 aber ziemlich gut gefallen. Die Bilder sind schön, die Musik super und auch die Hauptdarstellerin macht ihre Sache gut, die anderen Darsteller können ihren Rollen kein Leben einverleiben, es ist eben nicht ganz einfach in einem Stummfilm eine eindrucksvolle Darbiertung abzugeben, ganz und gar nicht. Dass die Geschichte auch nicht die innovativste ist, soll an dieser Stelle auch noch erwähnt werden.
