Audience Member Wilson Yip intended it as a modern incarnations of the Butterfly Lovers: with kindness and subtlety, a delicate drama about (the desire for a) family and (the fear of) lonelyness, in a similar vein to Bullets over summer. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/28/23 Full Review Audience Member Uncommonly delicate for a Hong Kong movie in early 2000s. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/04/23 Full Review Audience Member Suprisingly heart-felt performances from a usually comedic leads. An earnest, bittersweet story doesn't hurt either. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/21/23 Full Review Audience Member Another great fil with Francis Ng who is a genius Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member I was neve a fan of Sandra Ng, as her comedic acts are way too over the top for my taste. But "Juliet in Love" changes my opinion about her as an actress. Sandra gave a very low key and touching performance, outshining her costars Francis Ng and Simon Yam, who are pretty good in their own rights. This is definiely a movie worth waching. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Audience Member probably the best love movie in HK recent years... Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/21/23 Full Review Read all reviews
