06/26/2020 This documentary is great time! The man it is about is very interesting person who has lived a long and storied life. It is very well paced and moves along at a good speed, not dwelling on any one part of the man's life to the exclusion of others. There is a good selection of people interviewed, both family and friends, and fellow basketball professionals. Kenny Sailors is a good person to base a documentary on; he is charming and funny, and surprisingly profound at times. The film has basic animated sections that help illustrate Sailors' life in a cool way and add moments of comedy. The story is engaging as it tells the story of a man who hasn't always been recognised for his many accomplishments. The only thing I would change is to make the film longer, and go into more detail about Kenny Sailors' life outside of basketball. Overall, worth a watch! His life had many different layers, layers that contributed to his fading from fame but make for compelling viewing for anyone, sports fan or not. See more 06/18/2020 I really enjoyed Jump Shot even more then I thought I would. I went into the movie thinking it would be all about the history of the game, and focused being about what a basketball player brought to the court. The movie did tell a story a short about a Kenney Sailor and what he brought to the court. However, it also showed that he brought more then strength to the game. I found it very inspiring that he influenced so many peoples life for the better. It was really interesting to hear that he fought so hard for a girls basketball team. I see as a fight for the girls to be seen as strong, for them to know that somewhere is there who believes in them and will fight for them. Kenny Sailors deserves to be added to all the sport Hall a Fames, not just because of the Jump Shot but because he changed so many lives. In the same token being the man Kenney Sailor was, I do not believe the fact the he is not added just adds to the kind of man he was.
