Audience Member Decent historical film, refreshing that this film takes a non biased look into one of Indias independence struggles, focusing on an english mother and daughter and their time in captivity. Fairly straight forward and realistic storyline. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/03/23 Full Review Audience Member wow!....i had no idea that indian cinema had such masterpieces lying around in their archives, trumps sholay and many others. A movie way ahead of its time. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/06/23 Full Review Audience Member This movie is a classic. Nafisa Ali is sooo pretty. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/27/23 Full Review Audience Member A work of art by Shyam Benegal! There couldn't have been a better adaptation of the novel by Ruskin Bond! His interpretation and presentation of the novel on screen is what earns it two-thumbs up!
