Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom adds another set piece-packed entry to the blockbuster franchise, although genuinely thrilling moments are in increasingly short supply.

Not only do the actors look bored with the dinos, who once commanded awe and fear, the creatures too seem disinterested. Go to Full Review

Colin Trevorrow's belated follow-up to Jurassic Park is one of the most intriguing of recent reboots, since the premise of a theme park inhabited by actual dinosaurs directly dramatises the dangers of bringing the past back to life. Go to Full Review

“Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom” is a blast (on the most giant screen possible), but with weak foundations, it’s hard not to feel disappointed and wonder what could have been. Go to Full Review

"Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom," continues the feral frolic only to go a little too far and throw smarts out the window next. Go to Full Review

As good-looking as the movie is, it's not enough to change my mind: this is one of the worst films of 2018. An excellent cast, some mind-blowing CGI, and a great director... all wasted due to an extremely flawed screenplay and paper-thin new characters. Go to Full Review

Matt coln May 4 it was ok but in the movie didn't address the real problem See more Jackie-the-Critic 01/06/2025 Entertaining. Engaging. Just plain fun and lots of it! Amazing graphics and sound! See more Tyler 07/11/2023 Overall was a fine movie. Had some good moments, some bad moments, and interestingly enough some horror moments. See more brittany R @RT87199463 4d Hello! I think all the Jurassic Parks are great and the 2015, 2018, and 2022 aren’t as good as the first three. However this is definitely the worst. The 2022 film was great except for the last dinosaur and 2015 was good in its own way yet not as true to the Jurassic park first trilogy. The last film 2022 was the truest if only the last dinosaur wasn’t in the film. The volcano was pretty unrealistic. All are good films .please be more authentic to the original films. Having your own creative spin off just isn’t enough to make a good film especially if a past plot line was already in place. This is the only one I’d have to rate down . All Jurassic parks are great and will always prefer the originals. Dinosaurs were so realistic. Most of this films dinosaurs had an under bite. With Cgr it’s more realistic but anatomically and literally are extremely unrealistic where it doesn’t feel like creators actually study what they create . It seems the industry is more about "flare", miss the real See more Justin T @RT08580778 Apr 23 As if dinosaurs weren’t enough of a threat, they added an erupting volcano. It’s funnier than the first film but sometimes I think unintentionally. The cinematography and effects look better. The peril on the island and in the mansion were great, the rest of the film was meh. It’s an entertaining popcorn film, nothing special. See more Noah L @PilgorOfSanAngora Apr 22 Jurassic World; Fallen Kingdom isn't that good. They just couldn't make up there minds on what the film really was about. It starts as a dino-rescue mission but then becomes a "haunted house" escape. The characters aren't that well written either, and the side character are very annoying. This movie also has some very over-the-top themes (like human cloning) and has some repeated topics (like creating a hybrid dinosaur). But this movie does have some cool things in it. It has some very great action sequences (like the intro, the island escape scene, or the Indoraptor in the mansion), but also has some of the most emotional moments in the franchise (like the Brachiosaurus that couldn't escape the island). And even though the reason why it was created was dumb, I honestly REALLY think the Indoraptor is a VERY cool dinosaur (probably my favorite hybrid in the franchise). This movie in general is bad but it does have its moments. See more Read all reviews
