Set during one pivotal weekend in the life of the New York City youth, GQ's hip-hop musical eschews the typical urban-drama formula for a breezy slice-of-life vibe. The strong supporting cast includes Jaclyn DeSantis, Mylika Davis, Nate Mooney, Omar Sharif Scroggins, and Fay Wolf. Review: I really wanted to like this movie cuz of the Hip Hop element but it was just boring and it had no point. The movie is call Just Another Story but I was trying to figure out what was the story and what was the point of it 4 me to keep watching. Well the only reason I kept watching is becuz I did like the hip hop musical scenes where they start rhyming a conversation to each other, I love dat kinda stuff, I'm still mad at MTV for getting rid of "The Lyricist's Lounge Show" and MTV's "Scratch & Burn" which featured GQ who stars in this movie "Just Another Story". The acting was OK, GQ playing Stix was OK and his rhyming was OK too but he didn't bring his A game. I did like The scene between Stix and Baby played by Jaclyn DeSantis they're rhyming musical scene was really good, best scene in the movie. I would love to see more of Jaclyn DeSantis she is really talented and really hot too. Overall this movie could have been betta, I wish they could have done a lot more Hop Hip musical scenes and get GQ to make up some betta lyrics very disappointing. P.S. MTV bring back The Lyricist's Lounge Show. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/25/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
