Just Visiting is an American retelling of the 1993 French comedy blockbuster Les Visiteurs in which stars Jean Reno and Christian Clavier reprise their popular roles for original director Jean-Marie Gaubert. In the film, A French nobleman, Count Thibault of Malfete (Jean Reno) and his servant André (Christian Clavier) find themselves in modern day Chicago -- transported from the 12th century due to a wizard's flawed time-travel potion.

This is a greatly toned down remake of the hit French comedy "Les Visiteurs." The result is a soft family friendly fairy tale. By no means a memorable film, but a heartwarming one.

I thought the movie "Just Visiting" was hilarious and charming. I love off beat humorous films such as "Where's Papa", "Harold and Maud", "Mars Attacks", "What They do in the Shadows", "Bowfinger", and this one is in this category. It made me laugh out loud, and I enjoyed watching this a few times. I haven't seen it recently, but have great memories enjoying it years ago.
