Despite its massive production issues and the studio’s mandate for a runtime shorter than two hours - dooming the film even when Zack Snyder was still at the helm - Joss Whedon still manages to deliver a reasonable superhero flick.

Definitely felt like a Frankensteined movie. Some scenes were gorgeous and others were pretty obviously additional photography and weird looking.

This is genuinely just a nothing burger. The story is too stuffed and uninspiring for a 2 hour long CBM. Acting across the board is also more than just robitic and comes across as if the actor was plainly reading the script rather than actually being in character. Specifically when it came to Henry Cavill's Superman, Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman and Ray Fisher's Cyborg. This is however saved by Ben Affleck's portrayal of Batman only to be shit on by Ezra Miller's dorky Flash acting. Jason Momoa's Aquaman is barely in the film tbh so he can't be fairly rated. The cinematography is good for majority of the film and positively different from Zack Snyder's commonly preference for a bland black & white. Not really a boring film but for a superhero team up film this is very underwhelming but also unsurprising considering Zack Snyder's track record and the DCEU as a whole. Truly The Mehvengers.
