Douglas Davidson Elements of Madness Though it plays more as a conclusion to the entire DC Animated Movie Universe (DCAMU) rather than its own film, "Part Three" delivers a satisfying adventure with more than a few surprises. Rated: 3.5/5 Aug 7, 2024 Full Review Tom Spoors Loud and Clear Reviews “This is the way the world ends. Not with a bang but a whimper”. [...] I don’t think you’ll find a sentence that more perfectly encapsulates Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths Part Three and the trilogy as a whole. Rated: 2/5 Jul 25, 2024 Full Review Jonathan Garcia Dynamic Duel Podcast Though ambitious and somewhat heartfelt, this convoluted, dull conclusion to the Tomorrowverse proves inaccessible to all but DC’s most diehard animation fans. Rated: 2.5/5 Jul 24, 2024 Full Review Jeffrey Lyles Lyles' Movie Files Despite the unprecedented amount of time to tell a largely comic book accurate story, Krieg wanted to tell more of an original tale from a universe that’s barely had time to develop a following. Rated: 5/10 Jul 21, 2024 Full Review Hayden Mears IGN Movies Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths – Part Three can’t escape the general lifelessness of the Tomorrowverse. Daryl J Contrived McGuffin ending. Death of my childhood memories. What could be worse? Oh yeah...At the end of the previous movie, Flash runs through the speedforce to reset the universe. You could SKIP this entire series as it ends right where the DCAU would be if Flash succeeded in his offscreen mission. So nothing about this series matters and you have wasted six hours of your life that you won't get back. I feel sorry for anyone who paid money for this movie. I was waiting for the series to end to buy the box set but I won't be wasting my time or money on it. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/04/25 Full Review Muhammad A GOATED Ending to the best DC Universe, The final reveal was amazing to be honest Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/01/25 Full Review Jason A This series has the remarkable distinction of getting WORSE with each installment. As a fan of the original comic maxi-series I had anxiously awaited these animated movies. I was encouraged that it would be spread over 3 movies. This was a huge, multifaceted story. It was going to need at least 3 movies to do it justice! HOLY CRAP! Part One was shockingly bad. As a fan I was shocked at how it barely resembled the comics! It had some connective tissue but this animated version was a parasitic twin! Putting the source material aside, how did it stand as a movie? IT DIDN’T! Horrible direction, atrocious editing, scripting was pedestrian and even the voice acting by some great talent, was not good! I can’t even recommend these for the DC purists who have to see these beloved characters and this beloved story because they mean so much to them. The Tommorverse has been a monstrous disappointment with this series being the absolute worst! Avoid it! Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/29/25 Full Review Alexa K This review covers all three parts. Overall, I really enjoyed it! However, I deducted one star because it occasionally feels choppy and rushed, especially for a big finale wrapping up over a decade of continuity films. That said, given the negative reviews, I was pleasantly surprised. This trilogy is best suited for those who have seen EVERY Tomorrowverse and DCAMU film since 2013 at a bare minimum. It’s not for casual viewers streaming it on HBO, as many likely didn’t realize it serves as a finale rather than a stand-alone. While some of the comic book fans say this film doesn't do the source material justice, this just gets me excited to read the comic myself :) . If you're a diehard DC Animated film fan, I think you'll enjoy it. But it's not going to fall into my top 5 (or 10) of the animated franchise. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/08/25 Full Review Marlon B All three of these movies felt pointless. All plot, no story. Just things happening with no theme, no reasons why anything is happening. It's clear things are SUPPOSED TO have weight and meaning with no effort to give them that weight. Everything is basically deus ex machina. This nonsense didn't need 3 movies. Didn't even need 1. It's a shame because so many of the movies in this run of the dcau were really good. Everything besides War World. For it to end like this is a tragedy Rated 2 out of 5 stars 12/13/24 Full Review Audience Member Where to start? The pacing is slow, the story is all over the place. The heroes don’t act like heroes at the end and the weak rationalisation does nothing to help it. The creation of the multiverse is explained in the most ridiculous way possible. A good chunk of the story is just BORING. and a good chunk of what’s left is drivel. This feels like the creative team indulging in some king of narcissistic, ego-fuelled self gratification. I know studios don’t have a moral obligation to the fan base, this is a business after all - but it seems like a pretty dumb business decision to p-off your hard core fans by mercilessly obliterating what they’ve grown to love. All that was missing was a post credit scene of somebody kicking a puppy. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 12/02/24 Full Review Read all reviews
