Cask and Crow P Absolutely great movie to watch. This is DC animated first try at the multiverse and they did a great job. From the reimagining of the DC hero's and villains as their polar opposite's, to the animation style, I highly recommend. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/01/24 Full Review matthias s "Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths" is an action-packed and thrilling movie that fans of the DC universe will surely enjoy. The animation is top-notch, and the voice acting is superb, bringing the characters to life. The plot is engaging and keeps you on the edge of your seat, with unexpected twists and turns. The action sequences are well-choreographed and intense, making for an entertaining viewing experience. While the movie may not be perfect, it's definitely worth a watch for any comic book fan or action movie enthusiast." Rated 4 out of 5 stars 11/09/23 Full Review London H Amazing you 100% must give this a watch Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/16/23 Full Review Audience Member Multiverse plotlines are lazy, the animation is weirdly round, and they retconned wonderwoman's invisible jet to be an interdimensional gadget for some reason. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/25/23 Full Review jacob b It can be obvious at times that this movie originated as a DCAU entry that would've explained why the Justice League cartoon would eventually have the subtitle Unlimited but was retooled into a stand-alone film (most notably when Martian Mamhunter falls in love; as TV Tropes pointed out, it might've worked as character development in its original form but feels unnecessary and tacked-on when stripped off that context), Crisis on Two Earths is a good entry in DC's direct-to-DVD animated library, albeit a bit more forgettable (coming out the same year as the critically acclaimed Under the Red Hood will do that to you). The plot is sound, Owlman's an effective villain, the voice acting is great, the action is fun and I do like the way they handled the mirror universe. The Jester (the Joker but he's a good guy) made for a pretty good one-scene wonder in the prologue. It also does have some thought-provoking themes but other DC movies have handled such things better (not that it's tone-deaf here mind you, just weaker than usual). When compared to its direct predecessor in the DC Animated Original Movie library, The New Frontier (predecessor in the sense that it has "Justice League" in the title), Crisis on Two Earths is a weaker film, not helped by the more overt DCAU influences, but it's still fun and worth watching at the end of the day. I was going to conclude with a multiverse-themed joke since that's all the rage nowadays even in non-superhero media but I couldn't think of a satisfactory one so you won't be hearing any "creative" insults from me about the MCU's seeming indifference to the multiverse (They'd better actually DO something with Kang in Ant-Man 3 because I want my YouTube recommended to ease up on the Marvel bashing, it's getting on my nerves. MCU Phase 4 has had its fair share of problems but it really hasn't reached the point where anyone of them could be called "the next Fant4stic". The She-Hulk stuff is getting stale).
