Valerie Complex Black Girl Nerds Justice League Dark characters are grounded, flawed, dysfunctional, and fun. They don't pretend to be altruistic or pretend to get along. However, they know when its time to get down to business. Rated: 4/5 Feb 15, 2017 Full Review Sean Axmaker Stream on Demand This is one of the darkest animated films from the DCU Animated Original Movie series, with a darker visual palette, magical battles with morphing imagery and an organic approach to magic, and some gruesome violence. Aug 19, 2022 Full Review Rachel Wagner rachelsreviews.net Redemption for DC animated films after the disaster that was last year's The Killing Joke. Rated: B+ Mar 11, 2019 Full Review Andrew Pollard Starburst A great introduction to some lesser-known DC characters, and here's hoping that Constantine and Co. are utilized in further animated outings down the line. Rated: 8/10 Apr 11, 2018 Full Review Felipe Tapia Cinetvymas.cl A rarity to please geeky fans that, like me. hallucinated with these characters during youth, longing to see them sometime on screen. [Full review in Spanish] Mar 1, 2017 Full Review Dave Trumbore Collider Justice League Dark is a briskly paced, darkly magic adventure that gives some of DC's most shadowy heroes a chance to shine in a story that folds in mythology and mystery, while never losing sight of what it means to be a hero. Eye C An interesting turn from the other movies, now we are in the mystical place and with the most non believer of the JLA. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/20/24 Full Review matthias s "Justice League Dark" has some interesting ideas and a potentially unique premise, it ultimately fails to deliver on its promises. With underdeveloped characters, a convoluted plot, and a lack of truly scary moments, this movie is unlikely to satisfy fans of the horror or superhero genres. While it may appeal to die-hard fans of the comic book series, casual viewers will likely be left disappointed. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 11/09/23 Full Review P E I loved the occult aspect and the "dark side" of DC, without having to resort to antagonists as protagonists. Granted, needed more Kevin Conroy. (R.I.P.) Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 04/10/23 Full Review Andrius Y Irreverente con personajes que en su mayoría son desatendidos que se complementan con un ton oscuro ,sobrenatural y mas violento, buena acción ,animación y bastante entretenida . Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 04/07/23 Full Review Nick S Interesting perspective of the DC universe with some pretty likeable characters. The plot was okay and the animation style was solid. It more than passed the time. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/10/23 Full Review Audience Member This movie is a blast! Some really cool stuff in here. I love Matt Ryan as John Constantine!
