Jonathan Garcia Dynamic Duel Podcast A short, yet adequate, adaptation of the "Tower of Babel" comics storyline, complete with a fan-favorite voice cast and enjoyable superhero action. Rated: 4/5 Mar 19, 2024 Full Review Brian Eggert Deep Focus Review Doom has enough character development to engage, just as a good two-part episode of the Justice League animated series would have. Rated: 3/4 Feb 22, 2023 Full Review Jeffrey Lyles Lyles' Movie Files Were it not for some major departures from the source material, could have been the best entry in Warner Bros. Animation's DC Comics library, but it's definitely in the upper echelon of the consistently quality animated films of the DC Universe. Anderson Common Sense Media This lean animated feature includes some exciting, suspenseful action scenes, some complex themes, and even some humor; it's all amazingly economical, given the 77-minute running time. Robert M Justice League: Doom delivers a thrilling and intelligent animated adventure that stands out in the DC Universe animated film canon. From its captivating premise, based on Mark Waid's "Tower of Babel" storyline, to its expertly executed action sequences, the film consistently engages and entertains. The narrative, though condensed from its comic book inspiration, masterfully explores the provocative idea of Batman's contingency plans against his fellow Justice League members falling into the wrong hands. This central conflict provides a fascinating exploration of trust, paranoia, and the inherent vulnerabilities of even the most powerful heroes. The voice cast, featuring iconic talents like Kevin Conroy as Batman and Tim Daly as Superman, is absolutely stellar, lending an authentic and familiar feel to the characters that long-time fans will appreciate. Each member of the League gets their moment to shine, both in their individual struggles against the cleverly adapted threats posed by the Legion of Doom and in their eventual, triumphant reunion. While some might wish for a longer runtime to delve deeper into the character dynamics, the film makes efficient use of its duration, delivering a relentless pace that keeps viewers on the edge of their seats. The animation is fluid and dynamic, particularly during the intense fight scenes, making every punch and power display feel impactful. Ultimately, Justice League: Doom is a highly enjoyable and thought-provoking entry that showcases the enduring appeal of the DC heroes and the compelling complexities of their relationships. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 07/21/25 Full Review Fer S Not very good. Things are either too easy or too hard in favor of the plot. And the final struggle is ridiculous. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/08/25 Full Review Joshua m One of the best in the DC Universe of animated films. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/16/25 Full Review Anderson O This is Among GOAT Justice League animated. All of members written into a wall and challenged by their most formidable foes. As well as an internal struggle within the Justice League themselves, considering their belief system of what the Justice League stand for , and can a specific member be trusted. The Villains goals are top notch. Based on among the great Justice league comics and a fantastic adaptation. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 08/04/24 Full Review Cask and Crow P This movie is another great adaptation from the comic storyline. Major changes were made of course but the basic idea is all there. They do some great things for younger and older audiences. Seeing the League of Doom just brings back so many childhood memories but of course the roster is updated. The action scenes are good and fast paced. This is def a good one to watch. Here's the negatives, first, Baan just looks weird. The mask to chin ratio is just odd. The dialog can be a bit corny, especially at the end. Definitely worth the watch Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/22/24 Full Review matthias s "Justice League: Doom" is a thrilling animated superhero film that fans of the genre will surely enjoy. The voice acting is top-notch, with some of the most iconic characters in comic book history brought to life by talented actors like Tim Daly and Kevin Conroy. I would highly recommend "Justice League: Doom" to any fan of superhero movies. It's an exciting, action-packed adventure that's sure to satisfy. While it falls just short of a perfect score due to its PG-13 rating, I would give this movie 4 stars and would have given it 5 stars if it had an R rating.
