Brittany Vincent Decider Anyone who loves Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman should certainly make some time to hungrily devour this movie. Nov 8, 2023 Full Review Charles Solomon FilmWeek (KPCC - NPR Los Angeles) I found this odd. It takes three DC heroes and plops them into alien environments where they don't necessarily function terribly well. Aug 17, 2023 Full Review Brian Costello Common Sense Media The parts don't equal the whole. Justice League: Warworld starts off strong, but gets increasingly muddied and confusing. Rated: 2/5 Aug 14, 2023 Full Review Jonathan Garcia Dynamic Duel Podcast Though its anthological approach to story structure and genre is interesting, the film’s disappointing and convoluted final act diminishes its overall appeal. Rated: 2.5/5 Aug 8, 2023 Full Review Sam Stone CBR Justice League: Warworld serves as the culmination of the Tomorrowverse when it remembers to progress its own story. Jul 29, 2023 Full Review Hayden Mears IGN Movies Justice League: Warworld boasts the stakes, tension, and scale of an event film but skimps on the emotional payoffs that would've made it a more satisfying experience. John D I didn't like or really understand what they were trying to do with this movie. There's no backstory to explain this fever dream/alternate reality. I stopped 1/2 way through. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 07/22/24 Full Review Lincoln P I’m a huge DC fan but this was bad. The animation style isn’t too bad not really the problem with this movie. It’s more so the story. It feels so weird to jump to another character without the natural feeling of needing to jump to another character. This was such a cool concept but in the short time frame it has. It had no legs. Jensen Ackles voicing Batman is always good but this story was just not it. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 07/21/24 Full Review Stuart J Another bafflingly lifeless entry into the Tomorrowverse. This film's core concept is obvious, but the execution falls well short of making the film entertaining. Bad direction, terrible pacing, lackluster animation and voice acting, limp climax, and the individual 'segments' drastically overstay their welcome. There's simply no passion here. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 05/11/24 Full Review BillHimmel Skip this one! Stopped watching after halfway through the movie! This is the worst I have seen so far from DC! Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 04/12/24 Full Review nashei p A delicate balance between Noir and Fantasy, creating a wild roller coaster of adventure. Mentally captivating with a touch of detective savvy that powers you through each part of the film. Rooting yourself into one idea of who the bad guy is or what the bad guy wants will have you crash as you accelerate to a twist here and there. A very enjoyable and engaging movie that does what a lot of blockbuster do not do and have you second guessing your own thoughts. This is while presenting a simplistic hero meets villain, but are they really? The subtle hints placed throughout the film and nostalgic references in each time period create a utterly entertaining movie. Easily five stars and by not watching this one it is like missing one of the harry potters books and leave you lost without it.
