London H Pretty good overall only complaint is how they made Batman act. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 04/16/24 Full Review Steve B Really creative story and a great take on blending anime with DC. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 10/18/23 Full Review Kyle M This leans more towards the RWBY fanbase as the series is more prerequisite than the Justice League in this crossover that decently entertains. With the latter long established its vast mythology prior to the former's existence, converts can easily recognize the comic book rosters when acquainted themselves with the anime web series, but vice versa proves otherwise and only been led by intrigue, only to find their relations secondary. There's seemingly enough narrative on both sides to formally grasp but elementally introduced doesn't develop them from unfamiliarity. Then onto the mutuality of both bases finds the retained rule of contributive angle amid an additional layer to certain hefts. The showcase is well-done with moderate enjoyment level over the charming appeal and fast-paced action, albeit occasional hokey writing that proves unfitting over the visiting group. (B) Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 09/16/23 Full Review Johnathon W Fun crossover movie for fans of both franchises, mostly putting them together fairly well. The vocal cast is excellent across the board, while the filmmakers mostly mix the characters together pretty well (the standout is Juane & Jessica Cruz, who develop an easy chemistry). However, some things don't quite work, such as Batman growing wings and the DC heroes in general being teenagers. Overall, a fun watch for fans of the series. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 09/15/23 Full Review Atmospheric E Animated teen superhero crossover movie made by the RWBY manga series animation studio. In this the Justice League (Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Flash, Cyborg, Green Lantern and Vixen) find themselves on the alien world of Remnant and transformed into teenagers with no memory of how they got there. Meanwhile their counterparts on Remnant, the heroes Ruby, Weiss, Blake and Yang also have missing memories and seem to be on a changed Remnant. The two teams must join forces to get to the bottom of these mysteries and identify and defeat the enemy behind this all before all is lost. I enjoyed this. I always like to see tales of young superheroes because these are always such greatly told stories. The dynamic of the now teenaged Justice League and the also teenaged RWBY heroes made for a great watch: seeing new friendships formed amongst the young people (such as Batman and Weiss and Green Lantern and Jaune); that sense of young heroes wanting to know where they fit; of believing in themselves; of encouraging each other to be the best that they can be and of doing the right thing. The final and extended battle scene is sublime, as our excellent young heroes do battle with their enemy – and prevail. I liked to see the sisterhood between Wonder Woman, Blake and Yang that developed during the movie and also Superman encouraging his fellow leader of the Remnant heroes Ruby when she doubted her leadership credentials. And because of her friends, the greatest of the young people – Green Lantern – overcomes her self-doubts and anxieties and fulfils her potential. And with Part Two yet to come, I look forward to more inspiring – and rewarding – young hero viewing. Well done, Kerry Shawcross and the rest of the production team. #wheredowego Rated 4 out of 5 stars 08/30/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Brian Costello Common Sense Media Yes, the wordy Justice League X RWBY: Super Heroes and Huntsmen Part One does deliver on its implied promise of bringing two beloved franchises together, but the whole thing feels a little forced. Rated: 3/5 Sep 6, 2023 Full Review Brittany Vincent Decider It’s an exciting, action-packed, and well-animated adventure that should please either camp and perhaps invite some new fans as well. Aug 7, 2023 Full Review Ricky Church Flickering Myth Justice League x RWBY: Super Heroes & Huntsmen Part One is an entertaining film that blends together these two franchises very well, enough so that anyone who hasn’t seen much of RWBY or DC won’t be lost in who the characters are or their vast mythology. May 1, 2023 Full Review Sam Stone CBR A solid thrill for both longtime RWBY and DC fans. Apr 26, 2023 Full Review Read all reviews
