Audience Member One of my all time favorite movies. Amazing music, interesting story, good characters. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/01/23 Full Review Audience Member .....So it is NOT a Håkan Hellström-biography. Director duo Måns Mårlind/Björn Stein and and writer Priscilla Jackert has instead weaved together a film out of Håkan Hellströms songtext's, picked events, thoughts and characters. Like a Swedish version of Trainspotting.. Adam Lundgren does a diverse, realistic portrait of Håkan Hellström. All the other actors are also doing a hell of a trip during the 2 hour long film in an incredible way. Känn ingen Sorg is a wonderful story, full of humor, love, some darkness, brilliant performances and loads of great music! Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Audience Member Returning from Hollywood, Måns Mårlind and Björn Stein are now back in the old country, making a picture very far from what once was the Dream Factory. It's Gothenburg, for the first time in movie history made beautiful and romantic. It's about a guy with stage fright or more likely people fright. He has a big talent as songwriter, but feels like he's dying when somebody watches him perform. His best friend sells cocaine, The girl who loves him performs martial arts, but he's the kind of guy who can't believe it when he's loved. It must be a misunderstanding. There's also this femme fatale who he never can reach, but his cocaine selling friend of course can. There are dream sequences, vomiting, getting rid of drugs in a toilet which tops the one in Train Spotting, but also splendid young acting in a lovely Gothenburg with colors you've never seen (believe me, I've been there). So what's the problem? Maybe the directors knowing too well the audience reactions and counting on them too much. It's clever, it's Gothenburg as a saga, but also Sweden for international viewers.
