Synopsis
Yousuf Karsh is the man behind some of the most iconic portraits of the 20th century, hailed for his photographs of Winston Churchill, Fidel Castro, Helen Keller, Picasso and many others. Karsh, who emigrated with his family from Armenia, began his career in Canada. With Harold Rasky narrating and interviewing Karsh, we gain insight into his work ethic and personal life throughout his prolific career. We are also privy to footage of his photo shoot with composer and conductor Leonard Bernstein.
