Mike McCahill Guardian A foolhardy attempt to revive the Roman epic in Cyprus on a budget that Xena: Warrior Princess might have snarled at. Rated: 1/5 Apr 2, 2015 Full Review Read all reviews

sarah a I couldn't finish this film. The acting was so flat and monotone. I usually enjoy budget films and some bad acting, but this I just couldn't get in to. The film was so confusing. There were some awful scenes of baby killing and rape, but it was done so fakely, it was insulting. I'm surprised some well known actors actually starred in this. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Clive T Watched for the first half hour with absolutely no idea what was going on. If I'd read the synopsis I might have followed it, but I shouldn't have to. Trouble it Michael Redwood wrote the store and the screenplay and directed it. Like Maxentius, he needed someone to offer a bit of honest advice like 'this script reads like a bad soap' or 'why do the picts talk with the same accent as the arabs?' or, or, or. I guess it went straight to video because I never saw it in the cinema. Don't even waste the price of a free download Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 04/18/15 Full Review Audience Member Michael Redwood's self indulgence and complete lack of talent are perfectly showcased by this movie. Do not waste your time - unless you want a good laugh at exactly how terrible a movie can be. Micro-budget - mini micro budget notwithstanding, school kids could do better. Do not remember Peter O'Toole by this load of old cobblers. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/09/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
