Best friends since they were kids, Rabbi Jacob Schram (Ben Stiller) and Father Brian Finn (Edward Norton) are dynamic and popular young men living and working on New York's Upper West Side. My two faves Ben Stiller and Edward Norton in the same movie? I'm totally hooked! Norton directed this movie, and his talent as a director shined. His acting as a confused priest in love with his childhood best friend was sweet and charming. I like the themes of religious concepts combined with romance and drama. Norton does have a playful quirkiness to him when he acts in comedic roles, but he does better in more serious roles. A feel good romance movie to enjoy.

Why don't we have actors of this caliber anymore? Imperceptibly, I found myself mentally and emotionally invested in all the talking points because of their natural interactions. It was fun / it was pensive.
