Audience Member good pre-code dram-com & early talkie Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Audience Member Strictly for Joel's fans and people who have a high tolerance for cheese. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member A young steel worker falls in love with the boss' daughter. They get married, but soon enough the ambitious and proud young man starts feeling like nothing more than a kept husband. Too campy to be a drama and not exactly amusing enough to be a romantic comedy, this Lloyd Bacon film is quite dull, forgettable and only rarely brightened up, mostly by a hard to miss supporting role in the cynical father of the young man.
