Audience Member You'll fall for Vaidehi despite her insistence upon a loveless marriage. She suffers at the hands of a cheating husband, an insensitive Sapna, and a mother-in-law who is quick to admonish and quicker to punish her. To Chand and Amar, the marriage was a favour. Vaidehi's demands for respect and love are seen as interference and as vicious schemes to rid the family of its power and possessions. Vaidehi's plight is a symbol of the unwarranted crimes committed against women of all races in societies with long-standing gender inequality. She lives within a fortress whose towers are too tall and moat too wide for empathy to seep through. Her therapist Rishi is her sole confidante, but he turns against her the moment she spurns her ‘advances' -- sexual assault. It's not domestic abuse which causes Vaidehi to snap. It is the murder of her child at the hands of Arun, her doctor, who is blackmailed by Amar to force Vaidehi to abort her pregnancy on medical grounds. The final ‘chicken' dinner is the climax of the movie. By this time, Khazana has wrapped itself tightly around you and you already know what's coming. Except, you don't. The movie showcases the aspect of a loving family and the struggles of a mistreated wife. Written and directed by Rahul Nath, Khazana offers a thriller drama filled with love, horror and mystery. The movie displays various attributes of mankind, as to how much can a person endure or act cruelly in their life. The movie is divided into three layers, the first part identifies the main characters role and its importance in the storyline. While the second stage features a tragic and sad aspect of life. The ending part of this drama thriller is a bit tricky as it very quickly turns into a horrifying scenario. Khazana, the movie has a great storyline and well-developed characters, as the story revolves around the young bride. The film also goes deep into the mind of a powerful villain and into the subconscious of the sad, weak hero of the story. It is a splendid movie with a balance screen time for every character in the film. With great dialogues and a well-structured script, Khazana is a good quality family film which will truly leave you at a shock.
