Tony S Low effort plot with Aladdins running around being exploited by bad white Argentinian idiot. With sloppily edited fights and probably the most unflattering portrayal of Rio. The entire movie feels like a filer episode of some 80's show with a higher budget. The scene that needs to be highlighted, is where Kickboxer 3 dips into a straight action movie. Where Xian and David mercilessly slaughter 7 guards, in a makeshift home invasion, blasting the poor guys in such jarring and violent manner. All to just ask a really stupid and inconsequential question to some shady guy, who in terror hid himself in his shower. Probably the most unintentionally hilarious scene in the franchise. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 09/25/21 Full Review Audience Member David Sloan befriends two street kids while in Rio for an exhibition match. When the young girl is kidnapped to be sold in the sex trade he takes it upon himself to rescue her. Solid entry in a rapidly expanding series. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/13/23 Full Review Audience Member Corny third entry in the Kickboxer franchise is not helped by having it's star being Sasha Mitchell, who I still can't get past being the dumb brother on "Step by Step." He was in the second film and I'll admit that he's a decent martial artist, but I can't get past him being a doofus of an actor. The story follows the kick boxer formula with the hero having to get revenge on an evil kickboxer for beating down a friend, though this film also has a old Wallace Berry type of subplot with the kickboxing hero helping Brazilian street urchins. This film is certainly not something to go out of your way to see, but it is nearly watchable if you enjoy formula boxing/kickboxing films (which I do). Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/31/23 Full Review Audience Member An OK movie. Wish there were more fight scenes instead of gun fight scenes. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/26/23 Full Review Audience Member "Oh - Please" **** 1/4 This Movie Got A Lot Of Air Time Back In The Early 90's On The Movie Channels (Hope Sasha Mitchell Got Syndication Royalties) & As A Martial Arts Buff I Watched It My Fair Share. The Rival Kick Boxer That David Sloan Is Up Against Is A Bad Brazilian Attitude Boxer That Looks Like A Swayze... (It Always Makes Me Laugh When David Jumps In The Ring) (After Martine Demolished An Underdog That David Was) (Coaching In An Expedition Fight. The Match Is About To) (Start Early But They Get Pulled Apart & Martine Starts To) (Snarl At David Ready To Get It On!) His Boss Frank Is A Mob Ridden Human Trafficking Gambling Gangster. He Knows That The Champ Looks Good In The Ring, But His Boy Looks Pretty Darn Good Too, & He's Gonna Give The Champ A Real Run For His Money. Feeling The Pressure By Other Prominent Mob Gamblers To Make A Bet For All That He Has Frank Is Determined To Do Anything Possible To Make Sure David Losses The Fight When He Gets In The Ring. For A Straight To Dvd B Movie Or As It Was Said Back Then, Straight To Video, This Martial Arts Film Was Pretty Decent. Sure It Had Scenes Were Some Of The Viewers Said... "Oh - Please" (Like The Water Fall Scene) ("Ow -- My Words") (The Body & The Mind Don't Always Travel Together) But For A B Grade Movie Of This Style I Thought It Was Entertaining Enough To Keep It Playing A Few Times. ~ I Give This Film A B - (Bright) **** 1/4 Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/12/23 Full Review Audience Member Isn't that Cody from "Step by Step"?
