      Richard Comar was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. He also was featured in the miniseries "Echoes in the Darkness" (1987-88). In the early stages of his Hollywood career, Comar held acting roles in films like the thriller "Visiting Hours" (1982) with Michael Ironside. He additionally landed roles in the TV movies "The Sins of Dorian Gray" (1982-83), "Countdown to Looking Glass" (HBO, 1984-85) and "Reckless Disregard" (Showtime, 1984-85). He also appeared in "Mafia Princess" (NBC, 1985-86) and "Many Happy Returns" (CBS, 1986-87). He also landed a role in the miniseries "Glory! Glory!" (1989-1990). In the eighties and the nineties, he worked on the silver screen, taking roles in the drama "The Big Town" (1987) with Matt Dillon, "Short Circuit 2" (1988) with Fisher Stevens and the Kathleen Turner comedy adaptation "Switching Channels" (1988). He also appeared in the drama "Hearts of Fire" (1990) with Bob Dylan. He also worked in television around this time, including a part on "Bordertown" (Bell Media, 1988-1991). He also appeared in the Sasha Mitchell action flick "Kickboxer 3: The Art of War" (1992). He also was featured in the TV movies "Straight Line" (1991-92) and "Family of Cops" (CBS, 1995-96). Most recently, Comar appeared in "Ebenezer" (TNT, 1998-99).
