[Pilou Asbaek's] demonstrations add an element of horror to Foundation, which also has a sly sense of humour sneaking through. Of the many fantastical elements manifesting here, influencer satire was the least expected.

Such a silly premise. Apparently using maths you can predict the future of humanity more than 100 years from now. What a joke. Faster than light travel is less far fetched.

The magic of season 2 isn't present but the season gets in super deep with the story to such a degree that it's created it's own magic. Jared Harris' lack of airtime is a sore point but the pickup from Lou Llobell and Lee Pace in particular is incredible. Lee Pace's development for the latest iteration of his character is so spectacular. The story development has been wonderfully engaging that I'm more than excited for where the next season will lead. I've not read the novels but have been considering it thanks to this show.

A great series to watch in fast forward occasionally stopping briefly once or twice each episode for a couple of minutes, so you don't miss anything important. The closest this series comes to Isaac Asimov's amazing, ahead of its time, space opera... is the title. The rest of the story presented has very little to do with the original story. Nice spaceships and other CGI though.

Reasonably well plotted, but so many tropes and cliches. Way too much gore and pointless violence. I'm glad they are moving the story forward, but extending battle and torture scenes does not make them have more impact.
