...despite a dip in pace in the first few episodes, ' Devil May Cry' remains incredibly entertaining despite the narrative dips midway through the season. [Full review in Spanish] Go to Full Review

Devil May Cry Season 2 delivers bigger action, stronger emotional stakes and an explosive Dante-Vergil rivalry that finally gives the adaptation its true identity. Go to Full Review

[...] Season 2 continued to prove that monsters come in all shapes and sizes. It also was a devastatingly emotional journey as we got to see the wounds that Dante, Vergil, and Lady continue to carry within them and that have shaped them. Go to Full Review

If you’re new to the world of Devil May Cry or a returning Season 1 viewer who loves exciting action and doesn’t mind a slightly underwhelming plot, then give Season 2 a shot. Go to Full Review

It’s less an adaptation and more of a remix, chopping and screwing every reference within the DMC fandom and pop culture as a whole without ever taking a moment to ask if they should. And I’ll admit it, I kinda liked it in that context. Go to Full Review

Christopher M @RT48186289 2d Awesome! One of the greatest animated shows of the year. The soundtrack remixes are amazing! Love this show! See more ryan F @RT82141535 3d I enjoyed Devil May Cry Season 2 immensely. To me, it was larger, darker and more emotional, compared to the first season but still maintained its style and slickness that made this show interesting to watch. It had great fight sequences and the tension in their rivalry added much needed emotion to those scenes. The animations throughout the season were top-notch and especially in the fight scenes when everything happened so realistically. Moreover, I found the soundtrack to be perfect for the atmosphere created in the show and it became memorable due to its perfect synchronization with some of the scenes. I liked how the show tried to develop the plot instead of focusing only on fanservice. In general, Devil May Cry Season 2 had exciting action, emotions and visuals. I cannot wait to see what is going to happen in the future seasons! See more Crying C @CryingClowd Jun 11 This was surprisingly better than the first season. I completely lost it when Dante went full Edward mode and stopped truck from hitting Lady as if she was Bella. Vergil kept pissing me off, always choosing lying manipulative demon over his own brother but also like whole humanity. They at least gave Dante more braincells this season, we even got full backstory. But after a certain point, it started to feel repetitive. Dante and Vergil accused some demon of killing their mother, then they killed him, then figured it wasn't him, then repeated. And they pushed Lady's abilities too far, I started to suspect she is also a demon, which would be lame plot twist, since we already have this kind of plot twist in every season. They also keep killing all side characters, and uselessly put more trauma on Dante. You can only push this thing so far, after a certain point it's not sad, but funny how predictable it is. I guess this tv show is better when you don't watch with straight face. See more Mr. N @RT43030906 Jun 11 Went through the entire show and got nothing but a catastrophe. The 2007 anime beats this caryoon by a mile and its not even an exaggeration. See more Red R @RT88291304 Jun 11 My brain feels like a pile of mush for enduring this show. I can't believe this show had all the ingredients to be one of the best yet tripped over itself this badly. See more Melisa H @RT567900 Jun 11 That was great. Toptier animation by studio mir, nonshit story like s1 now that vergil is here. Just skip s1 and watch this if you like the games. See more Read all reviews
