Robinson’s fairly charming as the love interest, but it’s Deutch who makes the film work. Go to Full Review

Zoey Deutch is a delight, great comedic timing and at the same time is able to show the pathos and grief for the loss of her sister that gets you in the feels. I thoroughly loved this movie. Go to Full Review

"Voicemails for Isabelle" is a solid, well-rounded entry into the rom-com genre. And its ending, a full-circle moment involving a voicemail, a dance and Robyn’s "Dancing On My Own," is just *chef’s kiss*. Go to Full Review

Ashley M @RT91119779 1h Rom coms are back!!!!!! See more Jonathan K @aFIREintheattic 4h I love a romcom as much as the next guy, but some of this is just too unbelievable and corny. It's still super cute, and Zoey Deutsch and Ciara Bravo (a.k.a. Isabelle) have some really great energy together. That relationship and its dynamics were very touching. But cmon with the number getting reassigned basically right away, Jill not realizing it's ringing sometimes instead of going to voicemail immediately like it would for a dead phone (no pun intended), and then some "hacker" recovering the voicemails later. Pretty sure if a carrier deletes them they're gone gone. But enough about the technology absurdity, what about the relational absurdity... why would she take him back?? It was such a major withholding and breach of trust on his part. There just wasn't enough healing shown to earn the happy ending. Bonus absurdity: her apartment in SF on a baker's apprentice pay is maybe the biggest "lol please" of all. Also, "you make me feel brave" was his... Must recommended film, absolutely one of my favourite films. I was glad i chose to see this film. Thankyou the director for directing such a beautiful film and the actor's for their great acting skills that depicted truly the real emotions of the story line. Thankyou, i really needed to feel these warm emotions and happiness. See more Brittany M @brittmichelle3 14h One of the best good feeling movies I’ve watched in a very long time. After all the recently released "plot lost & roaming around" movies, this one actually made sense. Acting is brilliant, casting well done, Music suitable except Beautiful Things egh 🫩 it totally drew the feeling out of that scene. See more Read all reviews
